I have to be very careful mixing colours with an organised palette. Over mixed colours sully easily, and I cannot identify them. Yet when people see my work, they don't understand how I can do it!

Artist's Statement

"Always using my own colourblindness as an advantage in terms of both diagnosing student with the Ishihara test (including girls who were surprised at the rarity of the condition in females); disappointing some that they probably couldn't become airline pilots, but also as a way to explain chromatic perceptions ... we can see things 'normal' folk cannot!"
