Anna Knigge

Using the Enchroma glasses makes me able to see colours right, and discover they are more vibrant than I thought. I am learning colours again, which is daunting at times but very exciting!

About the Artist

Anna Knigge was born in Malmo, Sweden and was from a young age obsessed with horses, writing, acting and art. Working with horses she traveled and lived in a few different places before settling just outside of Los Angeles, CA where she lives with her husband and ten cats.

Artist's Statement

"I have a mild form of colour blindness, but it affects me in such a way that I am unsure of myself when I do anything with colour. When I worked as a makeup artist I had to have someone on hand to check that I had undertones right, or even if I had picked the right colour. I would mark out the colours on my palettes, so I knew what to pick. Aside from work, I very seldom apply makeup on my own face as I have a hard time seeing what I am putting on."
