The Eton Smoke/Black frame features a shiny grey transparent front fitted with scalloped and transparent grey temples and black silicone rubber covers. How does this warning relate to EnChroma glasses?

Like most eyewear frames, EnChroma frames may contain stainless steel hardware components such as wire, hinges and screws. Stainless steel is an alloy of iron, chromium and nickel. Metallic nickel has been classified as a possible carcinogen and is on the Prop 65 warning list.

What testing does EnChroma perform on its frames?

EnChroma uses an independent third party laboratory to test its frames and lenses for compliance with international standards including EN 16128:2015. EnChroma frames are compliant with the requirement for upper limit of nickel migration as specified in paragraph 1(b) and (c) of entry 27 of Annex XVII to the REACH. REACH is a European Union regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals. However, the REACH is not recognized by the State of California. Truly Amazing

This is actually my second pair of Encrhoma sunglasses. They are amazing. My only complaint, not really about the glasses, but about options for Strong Proton colorblind people like me, is that they don’t make a good indoor option. When I’m outside, and it’s sunny, these glasses are truly amazing. They enable me to see colors that I never knew were in front of my eyes before. It’s miraculous.

Quite a change

Not as drastic as the videos had me waiting for but seeing the definite difference between colors and the vibrancy is awesome. Still not sure of the lighter shades but having never seen them I’m wondering if my brain can learn them? Hope so.
