EnChroma Color Accessibility Program™

The EnChroma Color Accessibility Program™ helps organizations such as schools, museums, libraries, parks, universities, tourism departments, businesses and others loan EnChroma glasses to students or the public so color blind people can more fully participate in life's colorful experiences and overcome obstacles. Through our accessibility program for color blind individuals, we donate a pair of color blind glasses for each pair an organization purchases. We also offer color blind adapted scenic viewers.

Over 400 organizations participate in the program worldwide!

Notable organizations across the globe have joined our mission, including the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, Van Gogh Museum, Centre Pompidou, University of North Carolina, Boston University, Visit Seattle, Travel Yukon, and Tennessee Public Libraries (see full list of participants below). EnChroma also advocates for the color blind by educating organizations about “color accessible” design in signage at venues, and modifying the colors used in schoolwork, classrooms and in the workplace. For less than $600, a “kit” of our glasses can improve accessibility and inclusion for students, visitors or employees.

Color Blindness Awareness Month 2023 Partners

During the month of September, we sponsor Color Blindness Awareness Month to raise awareness of the challenges, big and small, faced by the 350 million people worldwide with color vision deficiencies. This year nearly 250 organizations participated, resulting in a reach of over 6 million people. We’d like to thank each and every person who contributed to getting the word out within their organizations and through the social media and marketing efforts. Together, with our growing community of support groups for color blindness, we endeavor to create a world where everyone can fully engage with the colorful tapestry of life.

See The Impact of Color

Elevating the human experience by making vibrant color accessible to all through lens innovation is what motivates us at EnChroma. We partnered with Tennessee Tourism to install Special Scenic Viewers at 13 State Parks.
