How does this warning relate to EnChroma glasses?

Like most eyewear frames, EnChroma frames may contain stainless steel hardware components such as wire, hinges and screws. Stainless steel is an alloy of iron, chromium and nickel. Metallic nickel has been classified as a possible carcinogen and is on the Prop 65 warning list.

What testing does EnChroma perform on its frames?

EnChroma uses an independent third party laboratory to test its frames and lenses for compliance with international standards including EN 16128:2015. EnChroma frames are compliant with the requirement for upper limit of nickel migration as specified in paragraph 1(b) and (c) of entry 27 of Annex XVII to the REACH. REACH is a European Union regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals. However, the REACH is not recognized by the State of California. Life is more clear vivid and bright!!

I highly recommend buying these if your color vision impaired. The indoor glasses work perfect for outdoors. Reds and greens have never been more vivid wih depth. Thrilled i bought these. Absolutely worth every penny.

15 year old seeing in color for the first time!

My 15 year old son is seeing in color for the first time. He is really a fan of these glasses. We will look forward to keeping up with the changes in technology for these type of glasses. The lenses look a bit like sunglasses, so we hope in the future that might change, as it can look a bit awkward and people wonder why you're wearing shades indoors in the wintertime. In the meantime, we are very grateful for these glasses. Thank you!

These are amazing!

These glasses work! We surprised our color-blind friend with them, and when he put them on he was absolutely speechless. He just stared at the trees and sky, and could only say "wow." He finally understands what colors look like instead of having to memorize different shades of grey. We are so happy that these glasses work for him, and he loves this gift so much. Any and everyone with color blindness needs these glasses! (or at least glasses specific to your type of color blindness)

Great solution for indoor activities

Last month I visited a museum that is participating in EnChroma's accessibility program to try them out. I was quite skeptical, however this offered me the chance to try them out very easily at no additional cost.

This museum was the perfect place to see how the glasses would perform under various lighting conditions, both inside and outside of the museum. I was pleasantly surprised at how much richer and bolder certain colors were. It was a fun challenge for my husband and I to describe what we see and how we interpret the colors of various objects in the galleries. In the end, we agreed that what I was now seeing was remarkably close to what he was seeing with normal color vision.

The frames and lenses are very lightweight and sometimes I forget they're on. They're perfect for indoor activities with ample lighting, or on cloudy/overcast days outside.

Unbelievable
