My son shared with me that he had to read the labels on his crayons and markers to know what colors they are in Art Class... 😳 I had him examined by an Optometrist and discovered that he is in fact color deficit. These are the second Brand of glasses we tried and these are by far the better glasses for him. We are over joyed for him to see the world in more/correct color! This would be a 5 star review if the frames in the style of the 5-9yo group were a choice in style to choose from. My son feels like this frame makes him look nerdy when he would rather look sporty in the smaller aged frames.

Our 8 year old son always struggled with identifying colors correctly. Finally came to the realization that he was colorblind, which is a hereditary trait in our family. His face the first time he put them on was priceless. With these glasses he is now seeing colors correctly and he's able to tell us what he sees with and without his glasses. Even we look different to him now! Money well spent to make his life better and see him happy.
Glasses fit well right out of the box. Case that comes with them is well made and sturdy...which is HUGE when dealing with an 8 year old who has to be in charge of them.

My 9 year old son is delighted with his special glasses! Everything is more vibrant when he is wearing them and in particular it greatly enhances the contrast between different shades of green. Love the lenses, but considering the kids glasses cost over 100, i thouggt the frames would be nicer than they are, but unfortunately they remind me of cheap sunglasses found at the gas station. My kid loves being able to see color though, hopefully frame quality is improved in the future
