I wanted to send you a thank you for such a wonderful product! I have been struggling 44 years with red/green color blindness and it’s been embarrassing at times. Not as much as the last few years. I work for an AV company working with cat5 and multiple strand wires often. At times I can’t distinguish between red grey brown and green wires. I can see the shade differences but the colors just don’t look right.

On top of this I’m a guitar builder and been doing this for almost 10 years. I paint custom colors and have to have my wife help me mix my colors.

I’ve known about your company for a few years but was skeptical and thought color blindness glasses were a gimmick. Last week I really started having issues as my eye site is getting worse and I’m having to wear readers. In low light the color blindness is becoming more apparent. If I use a bright white flashlight then I can distinguish the shade differences.

So Sunday I did your tests and bought a set of the indoor glasses. They arrived today.

When I put them on I noticed everything was a little more vivid. My wife asked what color the valentines M&M candies were. I responded, red, blue and pink. I then took the glasses off and the pink looked kind of greenish. She smiled!

So I took the test again and here’s the results with just using them for a few minutes at a ton time the first night.

I'm a deuter. First I will say the glasses do work. If you can imagine a redish/magenta filter in front of your eyes that makes those colours pop more to differentiate from greens. When you take them off, you'll notice how green everything might normally look for you.

However, I found that the glasses made other colours look different too, the colours I never had issues with. Beiges looked different for example and I had trouble telling what they were. So you may have to relearn some colours.

But overall, I didn't find there was a big enough difference for me to want to wear these glasses all day. The filter also creates a bit of a tint that makes everything a bit darker too.

If you need to wear glasses anyway, these might be worth it if you add the prescription on. But for me, it wasn't worth the money and I will be returning them.

The quality of the glasses themself looks and feels good. Unfortunately the color enhancement effect that I was expecting is close to none. As described in the package I received I'm currently using the glasses to see if there is some long term effect but I must say my expectations are not very big anymore...
