About the Artist

I was a high level phlebotomist that used color blindness as my super power. Color blindness was a huge hurdle for the lab side of my life. Because I had to recognize certain color tubes and blood test, color was a necessity. I needed help, and EnChroma made it possible. 

Artist's Statement

"I have zero schooling or training in art. I am 100% self taught in the last year putting paint on canvas. My mentor and father figure died tragically and suddenly. I was besides myself... I couldn't shake the grief. I felt the urge to create something of and from love, that may make me and others feel better. I wanted to share my love of color and capturing beautiful moments and places so I can see them any time I want. I have fallen in love with painting. I could have never have done this without EnChroma glasses."
