What testing does EnChroma perform on its frames?EnChroma uses an independent third party laboratory to test its frames and lenses for compliance with international standards including EN 16128:2015. EnChroma frames are compliant with the requirement for upper limit of nickel migration as specified in paragraph 1(b) and (c) of entry 27 of Annex XVII to the REACH. I just love them. I wasn’t sure at first a lot of money. Let me tell you money well spent.
I have an issue with the red color. I can see it but it isn't vibrant enough. It leads to changing some colors into another. It isn't an issue in regular life but sometimes I had a hard time distinguishing colors and picking the right name for the color I'm seeing.
When I got my glasses and put on them I got upset that all colors went into reddish. Most annoying was the pink sky. I was staying in the same spot for about 10 minutes and watching all things around me and it wasn't some special. After 10 minutes colors returned to the originals without the red effect and the sky turned into a nice blue.
I started moving by the street and noticed a nice red car. It was the brightest red I've ever seen. I put my glasses off to be sure that isn't some special color which I've never meet. Without glasses, it was out of color dark red like someone just turns down the vibrant slider in photoshop. It was a noticeable difference something like between black and grey.
I found some colors that completely changed. I understood that when I noticed one bright orange pizza box in a grocery store I use to visit. Boxes were all-time there next to a cashier and I've never turned my attention on them. I put my glasses off and the color of the box turned into some mix of light green and grey. At that moment I achieved the WOAH effect. I asked my GF to confirm the color and it was orange.
At the start, I was thinking that glasses just making Red more Red true. But now I know that they turn the world in the right colors. I am happy to have that experience. It's unbelievably cool.
Thank you Enchroma for making that happened.
